McKee Seniors Recreation Society, Ladner, Delta, BC (2003-2005)

Seniorhome acted as Owners’ Representative to a long-standing non-profit seniors recreational society to transition from its obsolete building into a purpose-built new facility.  Our mandate included:

• Coordinating fulfillment of terms for municipal funding contribution;
• Design team proposals and selection process;
• Coordination of design development, market research, program development, and leasing arrangements;
• Selection of and negotiation with Construction Manager;
• Cooperative participation wit Municipal staff in development process on City owned land, in emerging new Area Plan;
• Development of construction and operational budgets for municipal approval and underwriting; and
• Non-profit Board development.
