Health Division Credits


The database in the Health Information division of SeniorHome.com was created with the valuable assistance of students from
Lakefield College School, Lakefield, Ontario. The student team members include:

Kathryn Ast

Kathryn Ast is from Toronto and is in her third year at Lakefield College School in Grade 13. She participates fully in school life. Kathryn has participated on the cross-country running team, soccer team, rugby team, field hockey team and the alpine ski team. Her leadership positions at school include head of house and Spirit Committee. Kathryn is also a member of the choir, the environmental club and the photography club. She has maintained an average over 80% her entire Lakefield career. Kathryn is working towards her gold Duke of Edinburgh award and therefore takes part in community service opportunities when possible. She is going to Kenya in December 2001 to complete a Round Square International Service Project.

Vicky Choy

Vicky Choy is a Grade 13 student. She studies music, 3 math subjects, chemistry and physics. She enjoys sailing, reading, and playing and writing music.

Lindsey Hepburn

Lindsey Hepburn is in her fifth year at Lakefield College School and has been widely involved in many aspects of community service at the school. These have included a service project to India and several commitments in women's shelters in South Africa, among other local endeavours. She is interested in medicine and is glad to be writing health synopses for SeniorHome.com to further her own knowledge of these kinds of conditions and to help others understand them. Lindsey enjoys hiking and paddling in her spare time.

Laura Pieterson

Laura Pieterson is a Grade 12 student at Lakefield College School. She enjoys snowboarding, rowing and playing field hockey as well as writing, dancing and traveling. At Lakefield, Laura is involved in Concert Choir, yearbook and has helped to organize a new group for students interested in creative writing and literature. Laura will be graduating next year and plans to attend university to study for a career in medicine.

Laura Robbins

Laura Robbins is a Grade 13 student at Lakefield College School. She is a member of both the cross-country and debating teams. Her plans for the future are to pursue a degree in kinesiology and to work as a sports therapist.

Theodora Turner

Theodora Turner is 17 years old, and is currently in her second year at Lakefield College School in Grade 12. Although she is a part time resident of Lakefield, Ontario, her real home is downtown Toronto. She enjoys school, and her favorite subjects are social science related, such as world issues, modern western civilizations and Canada in a North American Context. For fun, Teddi likes to visit her friends in Toronto and just spend time with them in the city. In her spare time she tries to stay in shape by kickboxing and running. Upon completion of high school, Teddi hopes to go to university in New York and study to become a lawyer.
