At 99 years old, my amazing grandmother still laughs every day, offers words of wisdom, gives me insight into matters that should be, touches those around her and enjoys life as it should be.
The story of my grandmother is far too long to reveal, the details of her move to Canada from England at age 97 and her strength and courage to come to a land somewhat unknown, amazes all who know her.
I am sure we all have our stories to tell, our memories to reflect upon, of which my grandmother is truly an inspiration to us all. Her strong spirit and zest for life remains every day and I am proud to say Doris Fell is my grandmother. Go “get’m gran”, 100 is just around the corner.
